Dr. Maggie, Medicine Woman

A few weeks back Maggie had the croup. Although nothing good usually comes from toddler illnesses, Maggie seems to have learned something from her convalescence, namely the placebo effect of medicine. Because Brenda gave Maggie tylenol chewables while she was sick, whenever Maggie has any ailment now--from a scraped knee to a bruised ego--she demands some "mahsin." Mommy, being the bright parent that she is (she didn't get to this point being stupid, you know), gives her a small piece of Tums(TM), which Maggie greedily devours, thinking it to be the cure to all ills!
