Birthday EXTRAVAGANZA

All our dear readers at un-ful-PHIL-ed probably already know that we here at un-ful-PHIL-ed LOVE our birthdays. Those closely related to un-ful-PHIL-ed can probably remember when we had 5 birthday parties for our fifth birthday (that's right brother Blabs, recollect the envy!). It is therefore unsurprising that we should wish to share with you the festivities held in honor of our 27th birthday.

First, Maggie chose to celebrate her father's birthday by waking up four times in the night. Guess she just wanted to spend more quality time with her Pops.

Next, when the [long] night was over, we had breakfast and opened presents! Big shout-out here to Grandma & Gramps H. for getting Daddy this:



It fits us well and we can't wait to hit the Arkansas nature trails! Maggie was quite a good deal suspicious of the marvelous contraption, however, so we'll have to spend some time convincing her that it is cool to ride in a backpack on daddy's back. [EDITOR'S NOTE: This will probably be achieved by putting her 3 yr. old cousin in it---envy works wonders].

Third while Daddy was at work (and going out to lunch here (mmm mm mmm! highly recommended for visitors of Little Rock), Maggie "helped" Mommy make daddy's birthday cake:



Finally, after Daddy came home from work, Maggie helped Daddy blow out the candles on his birthday cake:
