On to Maggie's birthday. She had a great time. The above picture captures the birthday loot (note the princess tiara on top). Ironically, the $2 balloons were her favorite present. By far the highlight, though, was the Cinderella birthday cake made by Aunt Shellie. It was marvelous:
Maggie's reaction to seeing the birthday cake and everyone singing happy birthday to her was a moment I'll never forget and cherish always. She was just radiating this pure, childlike happiness. By far one of the best moments of my life. Unfortunately, we were only able to catch a part of it on film (stupid, rickamafrackin' batteries!). But here's what we got:
